This beautiful 1-year-old blue female pit bull mix was found weak and
limping at a school facility in Palmdale hanging around the buildings
at night, living in the desert during the day and was very fearful of
people. She was there for a least a month and very thin. It took 2
weeks of being fed and slowly trusting a little more each day but one
day she came out of her shell and started wagging her tail and was a
happy, playful puppy ready to go for a ride in the car. She was
rescued the next day and taken to the vet for X-Rays. They found she
had a badly broken back leg about a month old that was healing and
stable so no surgery was needed and she gets around great now. She’s
now had all of her shots and been spayed and is about 55 lbs.

She’s a great dog and is very friendly. She was very fearful of other
dogs at first. She made good progress with her rescuer’s pack of 3
huskies but was very submissive and playful, always trying to lick
them. She was great on walks, she’s smart and has started learning the
basics but needs guidance to overcome her puppy exuberance.
