Mercy the Mission Mutt adopted

Mercy the Mission Mutt is a stray that wondered on to the grounds of the Mission at Kern County and was taken in (against the rules) by the women residents. They named her Mercy (very fitting) and she is just about the nicest “pit bull mix” that I’ve ever met in my entire life. In fact, she may be the reincarnation of some Saint or Godly precept because she is honestly joy personified. Her jovial nature and constant, in-the-moment, doggy optimism, has brightened the lives of the women at the mission and very positively supplemented their recovery. I hope and plan on bringing Mercy back there to visit as part of the miracle Mutts program. The I’ve never met a more happy dog n my life- but not annoyingly exuberant, just happy.
She is 100% submissive and let Zion and even Fred be dominant over her. Her personality is ever-positive and I was honestly taken back by how well she played with Zion and Fred. Mercy has been in the back yard of the mission for a week now (we are picking her up tomorrow July17th) and hasn’t destroyed anything and doesn’t even bark. Our Mercy is about 8-9 months old , not very big (35-40lbs) and very receptive to training and commands. Our girls is getting spayed and vaccinated on the 18th at SJVH and will be ready to go. If you’re looking for the perfect temperament in a “Pitty” then Mercy is your girl. We are also looking for a FOSTER for Mercy, so please fill out a foster or adoption app at Marleysmuts.com and share this post as much as possible.
