Tickles the Tick Puppy adopted

Many of you remember the first image that we posted about tickles- she was literally covered in ticks, most of which were overflowing out if her ears.Tickles has been through more in her short life than we most should in a life time. A pal of ours found Tickles out front of her home, seemingly dumped or recently freed from some kind of hell on earth. Andrea and the rest of the SJVH crew carried out a lengthy procedure to remove all of the to ticks and treat her anemia. Much like Hooch, Tickles has left her past where it belong, in the past! She has shut the door on it and has moved on. Tickles (named as such because its important to make light of what we see on a regular basis) has embraced life with all of her heart and is a love- a lovely little girl that deserves a forever home overflowing with love. As you can see by the images, she’s adjusted superbly to her foster-life but is ready to take her talents to her permanent home. She’s still a puppy, with puppy breaths and puppy-exuberance, so fill out your application to adopt Tickle’s ASAP at MARLEYSMUTTS.com

When Tickles first came to us, the heroic team at San Joaquin Veterinary Hospital painstakingly removed literally hundreds of ticks from her ears. Here is a video of the delicate procedure that saved Tickles’ life.
