Hi, my name is Liz Kover. I am absolutely thrilled to be the new Animal Assisted Activities Director at Marley’s Mutts, helping to usher in the new Miracle Mutts program, where rescued dogs help rescue people. I have many years’ experience working with dogs - in daycares and shelters, and as the sole proprietor of Frisky Fitness, my dog walking and canine cardio business Frisky Fitness. I am also a writer, pet photographer, and enjoy creating abstract animal art, CHECK IT OUT!

Just before joining Marley’s Mutts, I completed an A.S. degree in Assistance Dog Education from Bergin University of Canine Studies. Currently, I am raising and training a yellow lab puppy to be a service dog through an organization called Good Dog Autism Companions. And Fred, my service pup in training, is also helping us develop Marley’s Mutts’ social therapy dog programs in Kern County, specifically with the women in the drug and alcohol recovery program at The Mission in Bakersfield. This job is the culmination of many years of preparation, work and manifestation, and I could not be more honored to be a part of such a wonderful organization!
