It may look like this pups head was sewn back on after a decapitation attempt but I’m happy to report that there doesn’t appear to be any direct sign of abuse. I picked up this señorita from the City shelter on Sunday after she had an old but serious injury repaired and sewn back up. She even let the staff pull out her drain tube and clean her wound with out making a peep, just a walk in the park. After the shelter, she and I ran to a few errands and then went to visit and friend of mine in the hospital. She took all of 5 minutes to put her past well behind her and get into the business at hand, which was trying to get in my lap so that she could drive the mutt mobile!
It was very nice of the shelter to meet us there on a Sunday to ensure that we get her rescued before she headed to general population and risk illness.
Out girl is a little older (about 5) so I think we’ve got to go traditional Mexican (feminine) for her name. Now that you know genre we are looking for please get creative and help us come up with a deserving name!
