World Autism Awareness Day!

It’s WORLD AUTISM AWARENESS DAY! Fred and I were set to visit the kids at Valley Achievement Center this afternoon to celebrate, but we are snowed in up here in Bear Valley and won’t be able to make it, which is a huge bummer. However, Lisa, Sonar, Zach and Hooch will be there visiting the kiddos and bringing that special joy that only dogs can. And in the meantime, Fred and I will keep working — today and every day — to share awareness about autism; especially the unique ways in which the human-animal bond can help children (and adults) with autism connect with their feelings, and with the people surrounding them. We feel blessed to be a position to spread this message of hope and potential to everyone we meet and/or reach by means of social media!

- Love, Liz & Fred
