Fitz’s New Home
Saturday, February 13th, 2010Hi Zack!
Fitz is doing better than ever. He feels completely at home- -doesn’t run away when he is in the street–and loves to jump up on our laps, especially on Peig’s lap. He now has learned to bark more than he used to when strangers come to the door (I guess that is what dogs are supposed to do) but he sits on the mat next to the door when we remind him to behave. His little stomach can’t handle it too well when we (seldom) give him a piece of chicken, so we are sticking to his regular 2/3 cup of good dog food.
He is a lovely dog and we thank you for rescuing him and giving him to us. I hope you are doing well. Let me know how things are going.
Best wishes, PAUL
Rylee’s New Home
Saturday, February 13th, 2010
Hello Zach!
Turns out Rylee was about 5 months old when we got him and he’s going on 6 now. He’s lost all his baby teeth now. He was neutered about a month ago and has completed all his shots. He is inhaling all his food and is almost to 40 pounds, but still a lil’ shorty.
His fur is doing the strangest things. We can’t figure out what is going on. He has this 3 inch wide dark grey wavy stripe growing down his back.
All the dogs are playing and getting along wonderfully. We went to the dog park yesterday for the first time and there were two Great Danes who, at 5 months old, towered over Rylee but it sure didn’t intimidate him. He is definitely getting into mischief these days, but does play fetch pretty well.
Hope all is well and adoptions going great! Thanks for our loveable new family member!
