If he could talk, what a story he would tell. He’d probably start off by saying “I’m not crusty anymore, so stop calling me that!!” He’s right, his burns have healed well, and except for losing parts of both of his ears, you can hardly tell that he was severely burned. Oscar sustained 3rd degree burns over 30% of his body while narrowly escaping the Canyon Fire. Oscar spent a month at the Tehachapi Veterinary Hospital, where they provided a terrific atmosphere for recovery. Oscar has been up here at the Rescue now for a month and has completely melded into the pack. Oscar loves it up here and has really blossomed as a dog. Due to circumstances surrounding the fire, Oscar’s owners thought it be best that we find him a loving home and that’s what we’re going to do. I can’t say enough good things about Oscar; the most brilliant of his characteristics is that he never got down or depressed; he never let his excruciating injuries put him in a bad mood. Oscar is all smiles all the time. One can’t help put pick up positive energy from this persevering pooch. Oscar is 100% now and ready to be with his new forever family.

I was wondering what type(s) of doggy Oscar is, about how old, and how much he weighs? He’s such a cute little dog.

I spoke to Zach yesterday by phone concerning a companion dog for my mother. She had raised staffordshire terriers and shepards most of her life. She is looking for a buddy to keep her company. Zach suggested Oscar and wanted me to email you my information. My mom is also interested in Deliah. Can you get back to me with details please.
    Thank you
