This pretty little pip squeak is Angel, and she is a 3-year-old, spayed, pure bred Chihuahua. I always thought that pure bred Chihuahua sounded funny, like a contradiction in terms, almost like me saying that I’m a pure bred American—it just sounds funny. But I certainly don’t want to take anything away from Angel or degrade her status, so, Pure Bred Chihuahua it is!! Angel has had a tough run over the last few months and deserves an ever-loving home where she can relax and enjoy life. Angel’s Mom, the only person that Angel really knows, passed away a few months ago and she ended up at the veterinary hospital, in purgatory, waiting for a home. She was scared and a bit disoriented but has warmed up to the veterinary staff and has been going home with her foster Mom, Sheri. At first, Angel was a bit leery of me, but I sat her down and convinced her to hear me out—that I wouldn’t treat her like other men in her life had-and I think she got the picture. She really is a darling girl who belongs on a couch somewhere, keeping her owner’s lap warm. Angel knows how to be a dog and is completely housetrained and quite tolerant and obedient.
