Artemis - Adopted

This here massive mongrel mutt is Artemis and he’s a powerful big un’. At just 6 months old and a Mastiff/Pitty mix, he will get about 25% bigger than his already hefty 65lbs. Like many young doggies, he’s coming into his own and trying to figure out the world. Our trainers will be working with him over the next several weeks to introduce him to new situations and new people- really try to counteract his anxiety and teach him that the world is a comfortable place. He is still formative, so we have high hope for this beautiful boy. In greek mythology, Artemis was actually the daughter of Zeus and the sister of Apollo and believed to be the Mistress to the Animals (whatever that means). What it think it does mean is that our boy has a strong name which is always a good beginning. He’s been neutered, vaccinated and ill be ready to meet potential adopters very soon. Therapy does wonderful things for dogs (including me personally) and I think he’ll be a real lover boy once he embraces training/therapy.
