I am born and raised here in Bakersfield. Besides helping with Marley’s Mutts I am a stay-at-home mom to four little munchkins. I’ve always had a desire to work with animals but didn’t have to heart to be a veterinarian and put animals to sleep. Shortly after getting married I started fostering for a semi local breed specific rescue. I did that for about a year while finishing school and having my first child. Then I took a break from that and had my second and third baby.

After seeing a Facebook post about the burned puppies Marley’s Mutts was helping I decided to offer to foster. That was over a year ago and I’ve had nearly a dozen dogs come through my home and be adopted. Recently I have taken a break from fostering (after breaking my foot and Having baby #4) and now I am the Foster Coordinator. I get the emails when people want to foster and and also adopt. I spend hours on the phone setting up homes for dogs we find on the street as well as pull from shelters.

I love being able to help so many dogs and forever families find each other! I absolutely love being involved with Marley’s Mutts and love having an impact on helpless animals. I have no plans to ever stop and only hope to become more involved!!
